Dates To Remember

  • May 2 ... Tentative date for spring clean up is Saturday May 2nd at 10 am on Starbuck Ave.  Clean up starts around 9 am.  Bring your gloves, rakes and energy!  (NO power tools please!!)  We will also be stuffing the goodie bags for the car show so if you are not up to raking etc.  You can stuff it!
  • May 6 ... The next club meeting will be Wednesday May 6 at 7 PM at Maggie’s on the River in Watertown.  2nd floor.  This will be our final prep meeting before the show.  Feel free to come early and order dinner!
  • May 7 ... First cruise in of 2015 will be Thursday May 7th.
  • May 15 ... We need volunteers to help out at the car show in Clayton May 15-17 and leading up to the show.  If you know of a crafter, vendor, special car, musician etc, please let me know!  If you know of an organization that would be willing to donate items for the goodie bags, we will need 300 items.  Once we have flyers made, we need everyone to please hand them out in your area!  This year, for the 5th Annual Two Nations 1000 Islands Extravaganza, we will be giving back to a community that has partnered with Highway Legends and opened their arms to us for the past 4 years. TIERS will be building a new facility in Clayton and they have accepted our offer to help raise funds for them!! We are all about giving back to our community and what better way than this!?  Thousand Islands Emergency Rescue Service is the 911 ambulance service provider for the towns of Clayton and Orleans in Jefferson County, New York. Their response district is 154 square miles of mostly rural terrain and encompasses a large portion of the St. Lawrence River along the US/Canadian border.  They staff paid paramedics 24/7/365 and supplement the capabilities with paid and volunteer Emergency Medical Technicians and drivers.  As a 501(c)3 non-profit charitable organization, TI Rescue is committed to community service and excellence by initiating programs in public health and safety awareness, and our assistance to neighboring towns helped make us the New York State Department of Health’s 2008 EMS Agency of the Year.
  • July 17 ... Syracuse Nationals will be held July 17, 18 and 19.  If you want to camp, please let Rick now so that he can make a group reservation.  The national website is http://www.rightcoastcars.com/syracuse-nationals.php
